Processing method

The thermoplastics materials we process, first appear as pellets. Some of them absorb the ambient humidity. They must be dried up in stoves where the hot and dry air is circulating for a certain amount of time before being used. The materials are loaded in the extruder’s hopper, then driven by a worm screw within the cylinder, whose temperature depends on the nature of the material.

The molten material is then being pushed through a custom-shaped die. The tube or profile must be cooled down. It goes through a specific equipment – the former – whose goal is to cool down the product and forming its final dimensions. The extruded product is then conveyed, continuously measured by laser and finally cut to length.
