Environmental policy 

Folioplast has been committed in an environmental approach whose 3 main goals are :

  • To reduce our waste, and more specifically from manufacturing.
  • To recycle all our waste.
  • To reduce energy consumption.

This translates into action plan on a range of topics, whether it is on reducing our energy consumption, buying plain materials, managing waste…

Folioplast has made determined commitments through a Corporate Social Responsibility charter as an answer to the global stakes and concerns of its impact on the environment. The respect of these commitments are the key to developing Folioplast and its services in the long run . 

NOS ENGAGEMENTS RSE

GPI Certified

GPI means Granulés de Plastiques Industriels (Industrial Plastic Pellets). This term is defined as "plastic materials marketed under different forms, whose external dimension are superiors to 0.01mm and inferior to 1cm” by the decree n°2021-461 of April 16, 2021

All parties involved in the GPI chain value are concerned by the decree such as the manufacturing, handling (industrial sites using the plastic pellets in their manufacturing process), transportation of industrial plastic (logistics platforms sea and river ports) pellets sites, the cleaning station supervisor, recycling operators….

Folioplast has taken some measures to prevent losses and emissions of pellets in the environment and is being controlled every 3 years by a certified organization.
