Extrusion process

Extrusion is a continuous process converting pellets of synthetic organic material into tubes and profiles by forcing the material through a die.

At the exit of the die the profile is hot. It is cooled and maintained in shape by calibrators which stiffen it and give it the definitive dimensions.

When cooled, it is pulled by means of a haul-off, then received after cutting in cut-lengths or reels.
